Marta Kauffman's "Grace and Frankie" Beach House

Last night I discovered something pretty fabulous. The Grace and Frankie beach house is actually Marta Kauffman's real house. The house is on Broad Beach in Malibu and I was reading an article about a triple lot sale from 2013. It mentioned that the owners had plans for a home designed by Steve Giannetti and at the very end mentions that Giannetti also designed a mini-compound down the street that is owned by Marta Kauffman. The triple lot house was never built, so there is one Steve Giannetti house on Broad Beach, and it's Grace and Frankie's.

Now it makes sense why the set interiors are almost identical to the real interiors. She created a show and chose her own house as the setting.

You can design your house as you like but it seems kind of an odd design, to me, for Malibu.
