I loved that movie, and Priscilla. And Rocky Horror and Hedwig and Victor/Victoria. Mrs. Madrigal is by far my favorite Tales of the City character. I adore fictional trans people.

And that's where it ends.

Anyone a fan of Douglas Carter Beane? He tries hard.

I have the DVD signed by Miss Julie Newmar herself (and Seven Brides For Seven Brothers) and look at the poster, that's her real signature, a generation when penmanship mattered. Not like the chicken scratch young stars today do.

Are John and Wesley doing anything to celebrate this occasion?

I’m Bobby Ray, curiously aroused by the movement and tape snapping free under ChiChi’s dress—every time she looked at me.

I'm Wesley Snipes's lucky fingers squeezing Michael Vartan's balls.

I won this striped sweater Leguizamo is wearing when the studio had a prop auction not long after the movie opened and I gave it as a present to a drag queen friend.

Do you think Stockard passive-aggressively put spices in his soup just to make hubby mad? I mean, how hard is it to not add paprika?

I'm one of many who gave this film a HARD PASS. PRISCILLA will always be the ultimate drag movie.

I'm Carol Lynley, the back-up actress in the event that producers could not secure Julie Newmar's cooperation.

I'm dead now.

I’m the Wonder Woman redecorating montage.

I'm the weird need to redecorate what is essentially a hotel room. Something that no one actually does.

Why can't someone enjoy both? I saw both opening night in NYC and audiences loved both.

I wonder if Wesley Snipes had to fight off the Bubbas in prison who wanted to fuck Noxema?

by Anonymousreply 21September 8, 2020 3:52 PM

^^ I doubt he put up much of a struggle for some hot cock.

[quote]When a straight man puts on a dress and goes on a sexual kick he is a transvestite. When a man is a woman trapped in a man's body and has a little operation he is a Transsexual. When a gay man has way too much fashion sense for one gender he is a drag queen. And when a tired little Latin boy puts on a dress, he is simply a boy in a dress!

Best quote from the movie.

It ain't no Priscilla.

It's shit compared to Priscilla.

by Anonymousreply 29September 8, 2020 6:01 PM

I'm John Leguizamo, who gave the Only believable performance in that film. Wesley & Patrick were absolutely unbelievable drag queens. PRISCILLA is much better.
