If you sue somebody because it is written somewhere that you had sex with a donkey, it means that thousands of other people will learn about the donkey fucking claims through your legal action.
R198 I'm trying to listen to the podcast where Enty eulogizes Himmmm. According to Enty himself, TG had been a tipster for the site since 2008, with stories about Hayden Pannetiere, that Enty had to turn into blind items.
From my own searches, he created a Blogger account as "Himmmm" in February 2009, and started to post comments on CDAN on February 5, sporadically. Over the years, he started to gain some kind of reputation (but my memory was wrong, there was no article that actually named him as a source), but it started to explode in March 2012, when he posed transparently as RDJ in the comments, sharing more and more precise stories (Kirk Douglas raping Natalie Wood, a different story about Ryan O'Neal, the landline number for Natasha Gregson Wagner). It caused the traffic to quadruple, according to Enty. And then Himmm had to leave as a commenter to get out of the heat and the scrutiny, but kept on contributing.
He actually returned officially in October 2017, just in the wake of the Weinstein scandal, and this time he had blind items carrying his name in the title.
It doesn't look like the guy behind Enty and TG knew each other before CDAN started or even met. TG claimed at some point that he had picked the "Himmmm" moniker with Enty (" the origin of the name HiMMMM comes from a running joke with Enty actually. We're both big fans of the Cannonball Run film," January 06, 2012) then later that it was the choice of "4 people" (the four Himmmms, "One is an ex-famous musician. With even some people like "John Doe" finally finding the light, it should get interesting. At best, it would mean that Enty is an idiot who was played for 11 years. He never second-guessed, despite the many contradictions, the stories that TG would provide him with, never noticed that TG had no career in Hollywood despite having so many connections, and never even tried to meet the guy who was working in the same city. Oh, and he went along until the very end with the "It's actually four guys" facade. After his death, he even got in touch with the "girlfriend" who provided him with a sample of his poetry.
At worst, it means that Enty deliberately posts anything, provided it's a shocker, and was happy to go with the charade about RDJ (he doesn't insist about this stuff in the podcast, while it was the actual thing that created this monster attention about the site in 2012), concretely using as a source stories sent to him by someone suffering from delusion and mythomania but could provide him with material that suited the tastes of his readers.
It could be a "waiting for the other shoe to drop" moment, especially as the podcast . But, from a few reactions to John Doe's posts, some of his readers don't extend their doubts towards the rest of what Enty posts (even the material uncredited to TG) and few of them still believe that TG was just one of the "four Himmmms".
