Far too many people in the public eye are having children come out as trans for people not to side-eye this community. How strange that the attention-starved offspring of attention-whore celebrities are leading the way with pronouns and gender affirmations.
Which is truly sad because there are people that genuinely feel they are transgender.

Previously Heather Paige Kent. She starred in an early-2000s CBS TV dramedy called That's Life, about an Italian American family living in New Jersey. It also featured Debra Mazur, Paul Sorvino, and Ellen Burstyn. I think it ran for three (abbreviated) seasons. I loved it.

you know, the transgender and gay community needs to start gatekeeping again. Remember when women were claiming spirit animals, and getting very annoying but Native American activists shut that down quick? For people who don't know, Heather Dubrow is a very rich housewife from Orange County, her husband is a very successful plastic surgeon. The kids are very pretentious and performatively precocious as well, the oldest daughter was openly bisexual and talked like the human embodiment of Teen Vogue, at the age of 17. The other kids were already dressing in a "non-conforming" way last year, so I'm not surprised. Who knows the kid may actually be a trans man, I don't know her. But most likely, she's doing the same thing as her sisters and mothers, but in a different way. She's signaling status and attracting attention by creating a fake gender dysphoria illness. A lot of girls 12-15 are coming out as transgender these days, and tiktok is probably behind it. Also as a gay man just observing, that 1) they are still very feminine in mannerisms and speech 2) They dress like androgynous anime characters 3) They have no masculine hobbies or interests 4) they identify as gay, and they fetishise gay relationships between male cartoon characters or boy band members. These girls probably uncomfortable with puberty, they feel like they can't compete with the cheerleaders at the school, and they know coming out as transgender is the nuclear option to feed their narcissism. My fear is that so many of these fake trans men are going to be pushed through transitioning without any brakes, and they're going to start suing doctors in 5-10 years. And then actual trans men, who actually really need the treatment are going to get screwed, because doctors, surgeons, and therapists don't want to get sued.
