Ex-Trans activists exposed. Jazz Jennings' family mentioned.

I'm not sure if this was posted before, but I'm glad these people were allowed to tell their stories and opinions.

The risk of suicide in children, which is an oft-cited statistic due to the alarming frequency of suicides by transgender individuals, is overstated, Lopez tells The Advocate:

“It’s billed as being the key critical component for helping a trans kid. They’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, they’re going to kill themselves if they don’t [transition].' Even Jazz Jennings’s page on her foundation’s website has a note showing where a little kid scribbled, ‘I want to kill myself.’

"It’s subliminal. It’s expected that these kids are probably going to end their lives if mom and dad don’t give them what they want. And it’s usually a Munchausen by proxy-driven mother and it’s always a kind of wimpy dad-kind of thing going on, mom wears the pants in the family.”

That claim, Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, is a serious allegation; the medical term is "factitious diagnosis imposed on another" and is considered a form of child abuse. It is also a criminal offense. And on his Facebook page, Cummings accuses the mother of the best-known transgender child in America of that crime, and repeated in our interview.

“Jazz Jennings, thanks to me, came forward. I know the father, very quiet. Jeanette wears the pants in that family.”

That was 2015. They probably wouldn't do it now. Still it is surprising that it got in there.

^^ I can't believe that was printed there either. I had to read that a couple of times to make sure I was reading it correctly. I have no issue with anyone that wants to experiment or question their own identity. Under normal circumstances, I'd encourage it. But these self-proclaimed activists are scary. I've been around for a long time, and I know who these people are. They're not gay, which is fine, but their insistence that they be latched onto that is disgusting. Just do you're own thing, and make it work for yourself. That's how you find respect. Not by shouting down and violently attacking others.

Adults should be free to do whatever they want with and to their own bodies. But, encouraging young children to "transition" seems barbaric.

We don't allow young kids to vote, smoke, own guns, drink liquor, enlist in the army, or live on their own. When kids commit crimes, especially young kids, they are held to a lesser degree of culpability. However, if an eight-year-old kid now wants to transition from male to female or female to male, that decision is considered mature and worthy of support and encouragement. That kind of thinking just seems completely out of whack. And yet, all the national LGBT organizations go along with this as if it is completely acceptable and to question it is transphobic.

Yeah, "suicide" is one of the biggest lies.

The suicides will be in the future with all of the young people dragged into this.

I have no problem with rational arguments against gender transitioning. It truly isn't for most people.

Transing kids is straight up child abuse.

The parents and medical professionals behind this all belong in prison.

Dr. Chris Freeman, who teaches a course in transgender studies at the University of Southern California, is on the board of directors of the One Archives Foundation and boasts 25 years of experience on the subject, hadn’t heard of Cummings or Lopez when The Advocate interviewed him last month. But after hearing their claims that gender dysphoria doesn’t exist, Freeman compared their theory to beliefs about another condition:

“Chronic fatigue syndrome: People say it is not real. But it is. And being trans is a thing."

If anything approaching that article today were published it would be labeled a hate crime. Really a sad state of affairs.

They wouldn’t run this article today because what Lopez said about the Jenning/Bloshinski family— especially Mama Jeanette- has been born out on Jazz’s tv show. Instead of a happy transitioned teen, we see a depressed and bloated young man being told his unnecessarily stunted growth and infant sized genitalia will require excessive amounts of surgery to “correct”.

When there was nothing wrong with him in the first place.

Children don't really know what they want. I thought that I was attracted to girls up until 17-18 years old. Touching any girl gave me a boner. Then I realized that I was much more turned on by my own gender. Sexuality is so fluid it's near impossible to stick a label on it so early. It could change!

You certainly don't know at five or six years old (when they started with "Jazz" ) what surgical operations, drugs and social isolation mean.

On Facebook, Cummings denounced the therapist and surgeon who changed his life in 2003: “I went on Testosterone, and 5 months later, I had my precious breast and my amazing reproductive organs ripped out of me, all in a quest to be a ‘man.’

“What sane person does this, and what medical professional who swears to do no harm goes along with this diabolical plan? I am sorry but now that I have come to my senses and see what this vile community has become, I see the reason for the vileness and the darkness in its intent.”

He summed up his feelings and the campaign he and Lopez launched in three sentences:

“Gender dysphoria is a lie, I don't expect many to believe me or understand since you are still entrapped in your delusions. A woman can never be a man or visa versa, we can't change biology, and what the medical system has allowed for profit should be shamed and prosecuted.”

If you click through to Mark Angelo Cummings's FB page (linked in the article), he is still identifying as a transman three years later, so I'm guessing his views have changed again. One hopes his obnoxious propensity to insist that his current life choices are the only right choices for everyone has also changed, but I doubt it.

And the person who wrote the article is trans and their twitter is full of pro-trans propaganda

R10 I have friends who are trans and both of them agree. They both waited until they were adults in order to transition and they both are bisexual and lived as bisexual men, and then discovered that they are trans.

I am so glad it was pointed out how often it's a munchie mommy does this. I've noticed that too but hadn't read it anywhere else before. The parents are the ones that need to be at the doctor not the kids.

Well, by his own description, he had his breasts and genitals removed so he kind of made his bed and has to make the best of what he wound up with. That means living as a transman. It doesn't mean he has to advocate for it.

Yes R21, it was something that they gradually realised, learned, or discovered. Much like how there are bisexual and even gay men who when they are kids, teenagers, or even young adults do not always know they are bi or gay.

You don't "discover" you are "really" trans because it isn't a real thing. What did they "discover" they were? Straight with a cross-dressing fetish? A homosexual who hates himself so much he needs to cut off body parts and pretend he is the opposite sex?

It's truly shocking that The ADVOCATE would publish something like this as recently as 2005. What a difference a few short years can make. Caitlyn really deserves all the credit in the world from the trans community. She's their Martin Luther King. She made so much change for them.
