All 211 of them. She's very prolific

Don't you know how the music publishing business works?

🤣 Beyonce writing her own songs now that is comedy. Other people write her songs and bitch takes the credit. How is she going to write her own songs when she is allegedly illiterate.
| by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 27, 2022 11:27 AM |
I don't understand the acclaim she gets.
All her lyrics and vocals on this new album sound like when Adore Delano on Drag Race kept saying "Yeeeeeah, muthafukka, yeeeeah! Party, muthafukkas!"

She sucks, but we've already had numerous threads. Boring.
| by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 27, 2022 11:28 AM |
This thread has nothing to do with Beyonce, R5. It's yet another chance for DL's numerous KKK grannies to vent their spleen.
| by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 27, 2022 11:32 AM |
I'm no KKK granny. Good writing and abysmal writing have nothing to do with racial or ethnic identity.
Colson Whitehead, Toni Morrison, James Baldwin, Zadie Smith, Rion Scott are among many great black writers. And none of them writes shit like Beyoncé's shit.

[quote] Hold my bag, bitch, hold my bag / Do you see this shit? I'm a spaz.
Honestly, it's hard to find a particularly terrible Beyoncé lyric because they're almost all terrible.
I'd actually like to see someone post examples of what they believe to be good writing from Beyoncé.
I think it's funny that people say she doesn't write her own lyrics. They're terrible. It's like when people say Madonna can't take credit for her own writing—because, after all, only a team of brilliant intellects can come up with "I don't like cities but I love New York/Other places make me feel like a dork" and "I will be the gay if the gay are persecuted."

R2 Do you know how sarcasm works? Notice the quotation marks?
| by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 27, 2022 12:05 PM |
R6 You're an idiot. I'm Black AND a Beyonce fan, but she's nothing more than a Black Barbie that can sing and dance and THAT'S where it ends.
Her adoration, praise, and worship are befuddling and a little scary. I was looking up songs written by a recently deceased songwriter and came upon the typical Wiki list and saw her name. After I finished rolling my eyes, I fell down that rabbit hole.

I'm serious in wanting to understand the point of allegations that she is reliant on songwriters. Her lyrics are really, really poorly written. If she is paying people millions of dollars to write these words, how did they end up with careers as songwriters? There are so many intelligent and insightful writers in the world who can't get work.
| by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 27, 2022 12:21 PM |
Intelligent and insightful doesn't sell, R10.
| by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 27, 2022 12:32 PM |
There has always been something fraudulent about Beyoncé.
| by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 27, 2022 12:46 PM |
Honey, if I wrote shit like that, I wouldn't want my name on it ANYWHERE! I'd happily give Bey full writing credit.

She had a 3rd grade education, give her a break. Her dad wanted her stupid, so does Jay ZZ.

R7 Quit bringing up Madonna and trying to diss her songwriting while you diss Beyoncé you mental Lady Gaga loving cunt. Talk about a shitty songwriter who takes credit for others work, is ugly, can’t dance, barely acts, voice sucks. Lady Gaga could only dream of writing a Live To Tell or Like A Prayer. You can pick a part the lyrics of every songwriter when they had lazy ass lyrics. The Beatles repeating “she loves you yeah yeah yeah” a millions times in a row or “I wanna hold you hand” over and over and over. You don’t want to put Madonna’s best against your faves best you cunt because she’d blow her away. Beyoncé blows anything that bitch Lady Gaga could ever do.

The song Smash Into You on I am Sasha Fierce was written by Tricky Stewart and The Dream, originally on Jon McLaughlin's album OK NOW, but later pulled from the album. Jon did perform it live. Here is Beyonce's contribution to it to get writing credit. They changed Smack to Smash. That was it. Kandi Burris wrote Bug a Boo, but DC insisted they all get writng credit.

R19 Starts tons of anti-Madonna (and other diva) threads because they live rent free in their heads. Most people I know have no idea Madonna is acting crazy right now. What they did hear about was she broke more records all over the world with her remix album.
| by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 27, 2022 11:26 PM |
Erm, no. I have commented plenty about Madonna. I have not started many threads about Madonna. I am a fan of her music up to a certain point and a big fan of her videos. I also think she's writes poorly overall. Her music and videos are more than the sums of their parts, and lyrics are the weakest link. And yes, she's gone bonkers and is becoming pitiable in her strange Baby Jane stage of life. But I still respect her career. Few people are great at everything they do.

R21 we have Trolldar bitch. The professionals have praised her lyrics and overall songwriting. You’re a lying cunt. We see you.
| by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 27, 2022 11:37 PM |
Everyone on planet earth knows this dumb bitch can barely speak in coherent sentences, let alone write. She should give back all those grammys she stole for writing credit.
| by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 27, 2022 11:39 PM |
Beyoncé didn’t steal shit.
| by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 27, 2022 11:42 PM |
r24 it is not stealing so much as blackmail. A writer knows they will make more money if it is a Beyonce song so they accept the deal to as her to the writing credites.
| by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 27, 2022 11:57 PM |
R25 Not true. She’s normally listed last in credits behind 9/10 others. That says clearly she contributed a word/phrase.
| by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 28, 2022 12:02 AM |
R7 Uh oh, you seem overly defensive. Hmmm.
| by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 28, 2022 12:57 AM |
"so they accept the deal to as her to"
R25 What is your native language?

Singers have learned to add their names to the song author list. Tons of royalty money comes that way, long after that one record has finished selling.
| by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 28, 2022 1:15 AM |
Lauryn Hill tried to get Wycliff to add her name to a song they did long after the Fugees broke up but h wasn't having it causes she didn't write any of it. I know Beyonce tried the "I wrote this song for all the..." about "Irreplaceable" but then Ne-Yo released a statement confirming that HE actually wrote the song.
| by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 28, 2022 11:15 AM |
But why would Beyoncé *need* help writing a song that is mostly stammering nonsense laced with profanities? Is there actually a scientific formula behind writing "yeah, uh, yeah, thique, baby, thique muthafukka" lyrics that sell well? It seems like there would have to be if multiple writers are credited but I can't make sense of it at all.
| by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 28, 2022 11:30 AM |
R31 Why would a woman who is illiterate need help writing a song? Are you as retarded as she is?
| by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 28, 2022 3:00 PM |
R32 A person can "write" song lyrics by singing them without having to write them down, you charming person, you.
